Yankee Springs Cemetery burial listings were firsttranscribed in December 2000. Information was gathered by Sara Colburn, and RuthMcMonigle by walking the cemetery again in the summer of 2004. Updated again in2009. Yankee Springs Cemetery is owned and maintained by Yankee Springs Townshipand is still being used today. Cemetery is located on Duffy Road, just behindthe Yankee Springs Church, north of Shaw Lake and West of Co. Rd 611.

 The cemetery andarea was named after William Lewis known as "Yankee Bill" after hedonated the land as a burying ground to the town.
